Thank you for accessing my page. I am excited to work with the students, parents, and community members of Menomonee Falls! The Business & Information Technology Department works closely with our local business partners to promote financial literacy among young people and will continue that again this year with our successful Reality Check Day for all high school juniors March 2016! We will also be hosting our annual Tax Day in February, 2016.EDUCATION
I graduated with my MBA in Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I earned my National Board Certification for Professional Teaching Standards in the Career and Technical Education area. I was awarded a Professional Development Certificate from the School District of Menomonee Falls in 2010. In September 2010, I was recognized at the Wisconsin Business Education Association (WBEA) Annual Convention as the Business Educator of the Year - Secondary Level Award Recipient in Wisconsin Dells.
In February, 2012, a colleague (S. Burling) and I received the Governor's Award for Financial Literacy for our Tax Day Project that we developed for students at MFHS. The award was presented by Governor Walker at the Capitol.
On March 31, 2012, I received the 2012 Kohl Education Fellowship Award from Senator Herb Kohl. As a Kohl Education Fellowship recipient, I was awarded a $1,000 grant and my school was awarded a $1,000 grant to further educational activities for students in the Business and Information Technology Department.
